Updates and Bug Fixes

General

  • Input menus do not lock the program. Multiple input menus can be open simultaneously.
  • Interactive input check - blue(required input icons) and red (illegal input icons) react to input right away.
  • Number of user defined unit systems no longer limited to 4.

  • Composition
    • Pure component list shown in Fluid View Screen.
    • Easy to use Add/Remove component functions.

Common EoS

  • Preserve input for lumping setting.
  • Result is a Common EoS group stored in the database. The Common EoS group can be named.

Add to Common EoS

  • A plus fluid can be added to an existing Common EoS model.

QC

  • Bottomhole samples
    • FVF from Sat P at Tres to standard conditions is a new property included in QC.
    • Refined check for OBM.
  • Separator samples
    • Separator oil FVF is a new property included in QC.

OBM Cleaning

  • Contaminated STO oil can be input and recombined with gas from a flash of the bottom hole sample to standard conditions.
  • Cleaning will generate a clean reservoir fluid with mud attached. PVT data measured on the contaminated fluid sample may be input for this fluid. The mud will be mixed in when simulating the PVT data.
  • Buttons to save the cleaned reservoir fluid, the contaminated reservoir fluid and the clean plus fluid are found on the fluid view for the clean reservoir fluid with mud attached.

Pure Component Database

  • Overview of main parameters for all components in the same screen.
  • Shift between PR or SRK parameters supported.

Swelling

  • Critical point plotted on saturation point curve
  • Critical composition output

Plus Fluid Regression

  • Regression to equilibrium contact.
  • Regression to multi contact.

Flow Assurance

Depowax

  • Depowax cases are listed in the case explorer.
    • Export function exports a case w/fluids to a new or existing database.
    • Import function imports a case w/fluids to selected database.

Hydrates

  • H2O allowed in inhibitor compositions.

Wax

  • In addition to inputting the n-paraffin content of all carbon number fractions in a fluid, it is now possible to also input the n-paraffin content of the plus fraction for a fluid.
  • Option for inputting the temperature at which Wax in STO is evaluated, for calculation and tuning purposes.

Viscosity

  • Dedicated option for adjusting LBC to CSP.
  • Dedicated option for wax viscosity tuning, and for Common EoS w/ wax viscosity tuning.

Output

  • Merging plots by drag-and-drop preserves the original plots.
  • "Select All" and "Copy to Word" buttons on output sheets allow fast copying of all output to Word in an nice format.
  • "As Worksheet" button activates spreadsheet functionality on all output sheets.
